To ensure 100 percent quality in steel sector, the Ministry of Steel has released two quality control orders - Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2018 and Stainless Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2018. Till now, 99 smart cities had been selected under the Smart Cities Mission and now with the selection of Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya, the mission to select 100 smart cities has been accomplished.
